Free radical

The root cause of aging and chronic diseases

A free radical is a toxic compound that has lost a negatively charged electron, produced in the body as a by product of metabolic oxidation.  It therefore carries a positive charge and it’s unstable.  It will steal electron from another cell and causes a cell losses its ability to perform its special function or to replicate itself normally. High levels of free radical are the major cause of aging as well as more than 100 types of acute & chronic diseases.

What are free radicals?
Free radicals may sound like the newest band around, but they’re actually unstable molecules floating around in our bodies. Free radicals can come from the environment. Pollution, strenuous exercise, radiation, alcohol and smoking all cause an increase in free radicals. Free radicals occur naturally in our bodies through different metabolic processes, and they help fight infections. Having some free radicals is normal; however, having too many of them is not a good thing. Researcher Jeffrey Blumberg, PhD, professor of nutrition at Tufts University in Boston, says “If free radicals simply killed a cell, it wouldn’t be so bad… the body could just regenerate another one,” he says. “The problem is free radicals often injure the cell, damaging the DNA, which creates the seed for disease.”

What do free radicals do?

Free radicals have one or more unpaired electrons. Electrons prefer to be in pairs, so the free radicals scavenge the cells of your body looking for electrons to steal. As a result, they cause damage to your cells and DNA. This damage, called oxidation, caused by free radicals has been linked to a number of conditions in the human body. An imbalance in the levels of free radicals may contribute to:
• Inflammation
• Heart disease
• Stroke
• Diabetes
• Lung disease
• Arthritis
• Gastrointestinal disease
• Speeds up the aging process, resulting in skin that is dull, wrinkled and sagging.

How can you fight free radicals?

The best way to kick free radicals to the curb is with antioxidants. Antioxidants include beta-carotene, lycopene, selenium and vitamins A, C and E.  There is nothing better than a healthy, balanced diet full of fruit and vegetables. But let’s face it; most of us follow diets that leave something to be desired. The easiest way to get antioxidants into your diet every day is to drink ionized alkaline water!

A water ionizer machine makes ionized alkaline water. Alkaline water is important for great health, but the ionization of this water is its most important aspect. A water ionizer machine produces water molecules with an extra electron. Electrolyzing the water gives it a negative oxidation reduction potential. Negative ORP means that the water is a potent antioxidant with a small molecular size that is easily absorbed by the body. The antioxidant water created by a water ionizer machine is crucial in eliminating free radicals.

Hydrogen is the lightest element. H2 in water will link to the free radical O in our body. Free radicals damage is prevented by hydrogen. Hydrogen combines with free radicals to prevent cellular damage and destruction. Free radicals combined with hydrogen and transform into safe and harmless water to be discharged from the body through urine and sweat.

In a study, drinking Pure Hydrogen Water (in a 500 ppb content) for daily antioxidant body need is equivalent to eating 756 bananas daily or 516 apples daily or 38 carrots daily or 45 spinach daily or 3.7 pumpkin daily. So which is easier to take?
